Due to roadworks on the K 67 between Alt Wallmoden and the junction with the K 4 towards Ringelheim, and between Alt Wallmoden and the junction with the L 496, there will be changes to the timetable for bus route 656. The roadworks are divided into two sections.

In the Construction phase 2 (8–13 October 2026) the following changes to the timetable will apply:
🚌 Routes 650, 833, 834 and 852: Due to the diversion, the „Alt Wallmoden, Teichstraße“ stop, in the direction of Ringelheim, will be omitted without replacement. Delays are to be expected.
In the Construction phase 1 (13–23 October 2026) the following discrepancies arise:
🚌 Route 650 | Salzgitter-Bad – Salzgitter-Ringelheim – Wallmoden – Lutter
Due to the diversion, the stops „Lutter am Barenberg, Friedhof“, „Neu Wallmoden, Niedermühle“, „Neu Wallmoden, Dorfplatz“, „Neu Wallmoden, Wallerholer Str.“ and „Alt Wallmoden, Kapellenweg“ will be omitted without replacement. Passengers are asked to use the on-demand services on routes 833 and 834 as an alternative.
🚌 Routes 833 and 834
During Construction Phase 1, only on-demand services on route 833 will be operating. You must book your journey at least 60 minutes before departure (via the RufMobil app or by telephone on 05321 5182788). All stops can be served as required.
❗Bus route 852 is not affected by construction phase 1, as it does not operate during the Lower Saxony school holidays.
